For those who don’t know me, I’m Zachary, the guy behind Rooted Land Company. I’m usually on the other side of the camera, but Albert insisted on a staff photo, and he’s the boss.

Pretty sure I’m just his emotional support farmer at this point.

Nature put on a show this evening.

Afternoon showers gave way to mist rolling through the valley, while the setting sun sent rays across the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Mist. Sun rays. Mountains. Crickets and frogs.
Truly one of the most dynamic sunsets I’ve ever seen on the farm. No filter, no sales pitch — just one of those evenings that makes you stop and take it all in.

The sun setting behind the Blue Ridge never disappoints.
