North Star Lake Resort & Seasonal Campground

North Star Lake Resort & Seasonal Campground A family-friendly lake resort in Marcell, Minnesota offering comfortable cabins, beautiful views, delicious dining, and year-round fun.

Come unwind, adventure, and make lasting memories at North Star Lake Resort. North Star Lake Resort is a family-friendly getaway tucked away on beautiful North Star Lake, just 30 miles north of Grand Rapids, MN. Located off the Edge of the Wilderness National Scenic Byway, our resort is the perfect place to relax, play, and enjoy the natural beauty of northern Minnesota. Our 17 cozy Northwoods-style cabins (2-, 3-, and 5-bedroom) are fully equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and streaming services to keep you comfortable and connected. Families love the heated swimming pool and sun deck, large sandy beach, and swim area featuring a water trampoline, giant waterslide, and a smaller slide and climber just for the little ones. Kids also enjoy the well-equipped playground and playhouse. Guests have free access to paddleboats, paddle boards, and kayaks, and can join in on games of volleyball, basketball, or horseshoes. After a fun-filled day, head to our two-level lodge — home to a downstairs game room with books and puzzles, and upstairs you'll find The Chow Hall & Class VI Bar & Grill serving up food, drinks, and good times. Fishing enthusiasts will love North Star Lake’s 1,000 acres of clear water and 15 miles of shoreline. The lake is home to trophy muskies, walleye, northern pike, crappie, and panfish. We offer pontoon and fishing boat rentals (10hp motors), and expert local fishing guides are available to help you make the most of your time on the water. Whether you're here to fish, swim, explore, or just unwind, North Star Lake Resort is your ideal northwoods retreat.

🍂 Some days at the resort look a little different! 🪵

Some days are all about sunshine, lake views, and making memories. Other days? They’re about stacking wood, getting things buttoned up, and preparing for the long Minnesota winter ahead! ❄️

It may not be the glamorous side of resort life, but it’s all part of keeping North Star Lake Resort ready for another amazing season.
