I wanted to take a moment to thank all sponsors of weekly activities, the special events committee, and the recreation committee for all of the time and energy that you dedicated to making things happen at ORA this season. ORA is truly a special community because of all of you. We had a record year of attendance at all of our events. Funds from the season will be put back into recreation activities and items to make our resort a better place . We have upgraded technology for rec use, purchased supplies for the card and craft room and for the kitchen, and added misc. items like playing cards and ping pong paddles. In the fall we will purchase an additional ping pong table and a karaoke machine, add some additional Christmas lighting features, and next season sponsor some free events. The rec committee was hoping to purchase new Christmas trees for the clubhouse and river club but unfortunately the board of directors did not approve this purchase. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Have a happy, healthy and safe summer. See you next season. Michele
