The Inn at OxBow Acres

10/15/2026

This week, we're delighted to welcome landscape oil painter Debbie Campbell to our art retreat here at The Inn at Oxbow Acres 🎨
Debbie paints en plein air, drawn to the ever-changing light and skies that dance across the landscape. Inspired by the great Impressionists, her work invites you to feel the quiet beauty of nature, and to reflect on the importance of protecting the wild places we love. A graduate of Massachusetts College of Art, she continues to study under her mentors and exhibits widely in regional juried shows and plein air events from her home in Antrim, NH.
Join us to meet Debbie and see her beautiful work in person at our art show on Sunday, October 18, from 11 AM – 3 PM here at the inn. Visit our equine friends, soak in the mountain views, and discover art inspired by the very landscape surrounding you.
Learn more about Debbie's work at debbiecampbellart.com, and we hope to see you Sunday!

Autumn is painting the Androscoggin Valley in gold, and one extraordinary artist is capturing it stroke by stroke. From Thursday, October 15 through Sunday, October 18, 2026, The Inn at Oxbow Acres welcomes an art retreat unlike any other, culminating in a public art show from 11am–3pm on Sunday.
Meet Jessica Fligg, an award-winning plein air artist who travels the New England countryside in a vintage camper turned mobile art studio, chasing the region's hidden light in every season and all kinds of weather. She even braved the slopes of Mt. Washington alongside a film crew from Windows To The Wild—watch her incredible journey here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2Kl9-jBZ-0

One of the things we love about living here is the rhythm of the seasons. This beautiful field of corn will soon be cut to feed the dairy cows next door. Those amber waves of grain sway in the wind and are stunning with the age-old mountains behind them. Colder mornings bring dramatic sunrises to admire over a cup of hot coffee or steamy tea. Come for a relaxing stay and experience it all!
