"This was a truly amazing place to stay! It’s within walking distance (5 min) of a dozen wine tasting rooms in Murphys, CA. Next to the Val Du Vino winery, but on its own driveway nestled a little away in the trees. Pool and hot tub were great! The property was well kept and had everything you might need. Host is a great communicator, too! Highly recommend"

Doke Sushi is one of those places that surprises you, and in the best way. Super fresh fish (the owner actually drives to source it), creative rolls, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe.

And if you can, grab a seat at the bar, since that’s half the fun. Easy to strike up a conversation, meet new people, and just enjoy the whole experience.

Well, that’s a wrap on Murphys Irish Day ☘️

Yesterday’s event was the perfect way to kickoff Spring with food and drinks in hand, everyone rocking their best green outfits, green beards and beads, new friends, and good vibes all around. The kind of day where you raise a glass with someone you just met, run into them four more times (because Murphys is that small), and somehow leave feeling like a regular.

If you were here, this was exactly the vibe you were hoping for.

Murphys Irish Day always starts the same. Main Street shuts down and the parade rolls through right at 11am, officially kicking off what I think is one of the best events of the year ☘️🍻

And honestly, it’s not your typical parade… it’s much better. Think local crews, leprechauns, bubbles, dogs and horses, and just enough chaos to make it fun.

That’s the charm of Murphys. Nothing overproduced, just real, small-town energy and a crowd that’s all in.

If you caught it today, you know what I mean.
