Our phone lines are still down. AT&T is aware that we are still without service. They have crews out working to restore it. They are hoping to have it up tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

The National Naval Aviation Museum will reopen tomorrow, Thursday, October 15, and resume regular operating hours!

Alright y’all! We're going from a crazy weekend to a beautiful weekend.

This Saturday, 10/17/26,our girl Amanda is getting married right here in the park to an amazing guy, Doug! We couldn't be any more happier than she is sharing this occasion with all of us.

The whole park has power!!! *cue happy dance*

We still do not have phone service. Email is still our only form of communication.

Thanks to everyone who helped cleaned up, kept your reservations, and stayed patient with us while we deal with all of this. We really have the best guests. We love all of y’all! 💚

The park currently only has power to the office. However, we do not have phone service. All communication is through email at this time.

FPL is still working to restore power to the rest of the park and the affected local areas. The updated estimated time of restoration is 10/14/26 1145am.

Normally the West side is the Best and the East side is the Beast side. But this explains why we were hit harder than expected

Notice the strongest winds💨 were way west of the eye wall? That’s because the storm ingested a narrow and violent jet stream from high above on the storm’s west side and that rapidly descended to the ground. The models advertised it well, but still seeing the strongest gusts dozens of miles west of the core was odd even for us meteorologists. This image is from NOAA Satellites, it called SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar)
It measures the roughness of the water and then translates that into wind. The purple is 80 knots, the white is 100 knots +
Bottom line: every storm has its own character and impacts!

Good news! We are slowly getting power back to the park. As they continue to restore it, just know it may still go in and out. There were a lot of downed lines that are having to be reconnected.

Clean up is underway! With this crew the majority of the debris should be cleaned up today with minor things to do throughout the week. We deeply appreciate all of our guests who are helping clean up. We did not ask them to nor did we expect them to. They jumped right in; grabbing pool scoops, rakes, and trash cans. The love is definitely felt. 🥰

We still do not have power. The latest update from the power company is estimated late Monday night; but please remember they are working to restore power to multiple counties and that estimate may change.

To the guests in the park: ice, water, and Gatorade are in the ice box. Please grab what you need; especially ice before it melts.

If you are scheduled to come in this week and you would like to reschedule or cancel, please email us and we will respond when able. If you still want to come and stay, you are more than welcome to- just understand we do not have power.

We are doing our best to respond to emails as we can. Remember: no power and cell service spotty in areas.

We are safe! The few rvs that stayed do not appear to have damage. We did receive damage to our fences and a little messy with leaves and small limbs but all in all we’re doing okay. When I can make it to the park, I will update with pictures.

The area does not have power and cell phone service is spotty at times. We do not know when power will be restored.

Campers that evacuated- you are more than welcome to come back but please note you will need a generator. If you decide to go home, please email us and we will reach out to you in the incoming days.

Incoming campers over the next few days- you can either wait a few days to come in to see when power but note: supplies in the area may be limited. Or you can cancel or reschedule. Please email us with your decision and we will reach out in the incoming days.

Please be patient with us as we also our have our families and personal property to tend to.

ATTN EBRV FAMILY!

Our office will be closed until further notice due to the storm. Phone calls will be limited, but you can still reach us via email. Campers with current reservations that left for the storm, can text us. If you do call, please leave a voicemail, and we will respond as soon as we can.

At this time, we are unable to answer questions about the condition of the park or the surrounding area following the storm. We hope to have more information and updates for you tomorrow, once the storm has passed.
