This may be of interest to paddlers in the Tuscarawas River watershed. I imagine the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has automated Tuscarwas River water level and flow rates available on-line. I or someone else can post when we find out.

In light of the Riverfest Grand Finale this Friday, we're sharing a neat new online tool from the U.S. Department of the Interior. Streamer allows users to select any major stream and trace it up to its sources or down to its watershed. Pictured is a downstream trace of the Olentangy River. Give it a try at www.nationalatlas.gov/streamer, and find out more about Riverfest at www.riverfestcolumbus.org!

Stopped at the Gnadenhutten Boat Ramp yesterday to check the river level and progress of the installation of the new ODNR funded boat ramp. The river level is low. The boat ramp area has been paved and landscaped and looks finished. Hopefully a new picnic shelter will be built soon. Camping is $5 per group plus $1 per person payable to the Village of Gnadenhutten. There is fresh water, portapotties, and firewood available for campers.
