The Hole Story.

I always say there are no easy projects at the Follansbee. The hole is no exception to that mantra. The water line to the red cabin has developed a leak somewhere between the inn and the cabin. Fortunately this has no impact on the inn. And our plumbers were able to run a temporary alternative water supply line. But to find the leak, I had to pick up the patio stones and dig, and dig, and dig some more. So the pipe has been exposed but the exact whereabouts of the leak remains a mystery.

Our Night Cirrus put on a spectacular show for us last night. Ten blooms opened. These beautiful flowers open for only one night before wilting and they smell like Gardenias so we were treated to a fragrant, visual show.

We are blessed with an abundance of talented, fabulous musicians in this area, many of whom have given us memorable house concerts. This past Thursday Senie Hunt provided a performance for the ages. Senie is a true artist with the guitar. He leaves his audience in awe, wondering how he can elicit so many sounds from his one instrument. His guitar is a drum, a piano, a harp and a superb guitar reminiscent of Jimmy Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton. . . . Thank you Senie for a great show, we hope to see you next year when you once again tour New England.
