βοΈ Overnight Freeze Warning for Central & North Florida βοΈ
A cold front is bringing one of the coldest nights of the season to our area tonight, with temperatures expected to dip into the low 30s and possibly below freezing in some inland areas.
Residents are encouraged to take a few simple steps to prepare:
β’ Bring pets indoors πΎ
β’ Cover or move sensitive plants πΏ
β’ Store or secure outdoor items that could be affected
β’ RV guests should consider protecting water hoses and connections
β’ Use space heaters safely β keep them at least 3 feet from anything flammable and never leave them unattended π₯
β’ If it is wet overnight, be aware of potentially slippery or icy surfaces in the morning β please check entryways and walkways before heading out to help prevent slips and falls β οΈ
Stay warm and stay safe β weβll be back to sunshine before you know it! βοΈ
