There was a big post on here yesterday about sales being down all over town and talking about the high prices of lodging whether you stay at a short term rental condo or a hotel. Of course I am partial to short term rentals but both hotels and STRs have seen insurance go up 47% each year for 2 years. Homeowners escrowing should check their statements. For STRs we also have rising condo fees which keep the pools parking lawns gardens etc.

Insurance is what has really gotten out of hand though

I suggest booking early as I have discounts for early booking. I have full kitchens so cooking in can reduce costs even if its only breakfast. Above all BOOK DIRECT! Call the owner or hotel front desk. Ask for maybe a cheaper rate.

We lose alot of revenue to booking sites so booking direct is good for everyone.

The Shoulder Season is upon us here in Ocean City. Smaller crowds, less traffic, but the water and weather are still warm and I think the fall sunsets are even more breathtaking than summer

I have a few openings left for fall.

Folks. I was having trouble with my booking engine for about the past week. It is fixed now. If you booked during this time your booking didnt take. If you booked and didnt get a confirmation email, please revisit the site ASAP. I assure you the card was not charged., I checked the processor website to be sure.
