Probably 100 mangoes from today’s harvest from one tree. My other mango tree hasn’t produced half that many in 18 years combined. The Julie mango tree is incredibly productive even in wet years but after the driest year on record the amount is just crazy! 🥭

Crazy to wake up to our cars covered in Pele’s hair and cinder. There have been eruptions from the caldera regularly since 2008 and this is a first. Also reported 40 miles away, north of Hilo!
