✨ A huge shout out to everyone who joined us for our Grand Opening last weekend ✨

We had an awesome crowd and the energy flowing through the building felt so joyful!

Big thanks to Thistles own Alie Muller Heit for helping us welcome guests, Lori and Liz at Pella Golf & Country Club for the fantastic catering and of course thank you to all of our volunteers who gave tours.

Lori’s Dad, Roger, was the menu maestro of the Strawtown Restaurant for many years before the business eventually changed hands and the restaurant closed.

But, Lori knows the original recipes by heart! So, we’ve asked her to help us bring back a few of the fan favorites as appetizers for our grand opening celebration on June 19th and 20th!

We had so much fun hosting the Pella Rotary Club meeting this week!

Dave and Nicole Piccray, the new owners of Strawtown Inn welcomed our club this week. They talked about the history of the property, their plans for the future of the Inn and gave us a tour. Thank you!!
The club also celebrated some membership milestones - Bob Maurer 40 years, Craig Hetland 5 years, Megan Van Kooten 1 year.
