The weather report for this week post-Isaias is going to be FANTASTIC! Good morning from the AL-FL Gulf Coast and the Playa del Rio. Thank you to all of our Playa family and friends who have been calling, texting, and messaging us with concern, prayers and kind words. We want you to know that the storm passed us by last night with no damage, other than cleaning up limbs, sand and debris from the wind this morning. We are open and business is as usual. The only inconvenience is that internet is down on the island, and we do not know when service will be restored. If you cancelled or were delaying your arrival today and still want to come in, we are 100% open for business and accepting arrivals as usual! We look forward to seeing y'all back at the PDR soon! A lot of great family memories have been made at the Playa del Rio over the last 40 years! If you tried to book 4th of July weekend and could not get in, today is your lucky day. We had a cancellation, and have some open sites available! Watch the fireworks from the beach, enjoy sunsets on a swing at the Ole River side, spend the days on the beach or boating, and enjoy fonishing the day off grilling out at the Green Room!
