We look forward to working and fellowshipping with you this weekend! Come for a few hours...a day...or the whole weekend!

Dear friends of Chihowa:

We would like to give the basement of the main lodge a refresher
Help to lessen that whole "basement-y" feel.

We are having a work weekend over Labor day to clean up the walls and paint them. We have the paint and the supplies, but we need enough people to paint about 8 rooms and the hall. It will make the area more appealing to guests that really want to use the lodges.

If we could get a couple people to help us get the shower house/facilties cleaned up and working, that would be great as well.

We have the RV park open, so volunteers could bring their RV's out and have campfires in the evening or even stay in the main lodge if needed.

Date: September 1-4
Time: 9:00am September 2 start painting

Come for 1 day or 1 afternoon, 2 days, or even 2 afternoons, etc

Come paint, come run some PVC, come run your chainsaw.

What? You can't paint worth a hoot? Come out and be support staff with the ice water and such- Come run yer traps and keep the painters and scrubbers entertained! (And on task, LOL!)

Dinner provided- Hamburgers and Hot dogs/camping-type food.

Please help us get another aspect of our Retreat Center in good shape for the public to enjoy.

Please Message us through Facebook or let Aaron Laughlin or Rick/Wandamarie Schmidt know if you are going to be able to come out and have great fellowship, and a nice weekend of camping and help further beautify the Retreat center.
