You'll enjoy the large back yard and attached deck with table and chairs, but your favorite feature may be the view from atop the boathouse which directly overlooks the lake. 've got the start of a perfect vacation. Located right on the spring-fed, sand bottom South Twin Lake, you will find fairly good fishing about a hundred yards from the dock. You’ll hear loons early in the morning, see eagles soaring overhead, and may surprise an occasional deer wandering by. Nearby Eagle River boasts several blocks of charming shops and restaurants. You can rent anything you'll need for your time in the Northwoods; boats, bikes, kayaks, scooters, jet skis for summer fun and cross-country skis, snowmobiles, and snowshoes if you visit in the winter. The World Championship Snowmobile Derby is held annually each January in Eagle River, just a 20 minute drive from Ashton House. Biking, hiking, go-carts, mini golf, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, snowmobiling, golf, boating, and more are all popular activities you'll enjoy in the Northwoods. Rainy days are covered by trips to the bowling alley, children's museum, movie theater, library, or even the casino in Lac du Flambeau. Ashton House is a great place begin and end your Northwoods vacation days.

Phelps Trick or Treating is tomorrow Saturday Oct. 28th from 12-4pm. Here is the map of local residents and businesses that will be participating. Please be safe and have fun! Come join us afterwards in the school commons from 4-6pm for our Fall Bash with pumpkin decorating, the haunted stage, caramel apples, food, refreshments, games, and more!
