We hope to bring together families, parishioners, alumni, and friends in support of our shared mission. Guests enjoy an elegant evening of fine dining, entertainment, fellowship, and fundraising activities, with proceeds directly benefiting our school and church programs.

This special event provides an opportunity to celebrate our community while investing in spiritual formation, education, and growth of our students. Parents are encouraged to attend, participate, and support this important tradition through sponsorships, donations, volunteer service, or event attendance.

Tickets are $60 each or $100 a couple.

In Chapel this month, we learned about Uniqueness: God created each and every one of us to be different and special. He loves us just the way we are. We are all unique and our differences should be celebrated. You should be happy just the way you are!

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well” (Psalm 139:14).

“O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand” (Isaiah 64:8).

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27).

“Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:16)

Classroom Connection:
• In Chapel, our students learned that God made us Special; he made each and every one of us different and he loves us just the way we are. We talked about what made each of us different and special. The children had an opportunity to be interviewed on TV about how they are unique. Then they practiced daily affirmations in the mirror. It was very powerful.

• In the Classroom, this month our students learned what it means to be happy with who they are. Our students are given an opportunity to be a Star Student and share why they are unique with the whole class. Teachers also read books that focused on helping children feel special. And our students completed a God Made My... Activity in class.

• As a school, we talked about how God Made Us Special. Jesus created us all to be different. We are all unique and are celebrated for these qualities.

That is what the academic pushdown has done. It has convinced us that preparing children for the future requires continually taking more from their present.

More sitting. More testing. More writing. More instruction. More pressure to perform skills earlier, whether or not the foundations beneath those skills are ready.

And when children struggle under expectations never designed for their age, we question their attention, behavior, maturity, and readiness. Rarely do we question what we have asked kindergarten to become.

A garden does not grow faster because we pull on the stems. It grows because the conditions are right: time, space, movement, play, relationships, stories, conversation, wonder, and patient adults who understand development.

This Month in Chapel we learned about Creation.

“God created heaven and earth and said it was good. And, although we believe man is special in God's world, we are merely a part of the Creation -- placed here by God.” ~ Genesis 2:15.

This month we talked about how God created the World. Who Made the World? God did!

In Chapel, our students told the story of Creation using felt board pieces. They also learned that God created everything and it only took 7 days!
