My Pastor, and friend, Kelly Roberson is one of my guests speaking at the Esther Posture Wife Retreat. She is a kingdom force wrapped in both fire and grace. Forged in the crushing seasons of fear, intimidation, and silent warfare, she is a living testimony of what happens when a woman allows God to heal her voice, strengthen her spirit, and call her out from hiding.

What once tried to silence her has now become the very oil that rests on her life!!

Agree with God and use the authority that Christ has given to heal and help one another by using the right words.

“We’ve misunderstood “help meet” for a long time. It's a role for women, not men.

It was never meant to describe a woman who stays small, silent, or secondary.

In Genesis, the word used is k’negdo...
a helper corresponding to him, face-to-face with him, fit for him.

Not created to replace his leadership.
Not created to compete with his authority.
But created to strengthen his assignment.

God did not create woman because man lacked companionship.
He created her because man lacked completion.
There was a God-given mandate that required two...different in role, equal in value, united in purpose.

Biblical order was never about dominance.
It was about alignment.

When a husband walks rightly before God,
and a wife stands rightly beside him,
something powerful happens:

The home becomes fortified.
The calling advances.
The enemy loses access.

A true help meet doesn’t weaken order...
she protects it.

And a godly husband doesn’t fear her strength...
he is strengthened by it.”

Happy May 1st!

We are celebrating marriage all month. Will you join us in praying for one married couple daily? Will you be open to lean into the Holy Spirit about what He says to you about a married couple? Maybe you bless them with a gift card, call them and encourage them. Maybe you send them a card. Maybe you keep their kiddos for a day, or night?

We want you to be intentional about covering a married couple in prayer. Map out your May calendar and add a couple’s name every day that you will pray for. And believe God with us that by May 31st those couples that you have covered are whole, more in love and are moving forward on their journey toward oneness.

All the others are important, but you have to make sure you've got your priorities in the correct order.

In honor of Wednesday, married couples we want you to consider this: We live in a time when being busy is worn as a badge of honor. Do more to make more, to accomplish more, to BECOME more. But why? At what cost? If we're not careful, culture's propensity for more (just because more is always better, right?) can distract us from what's truly important, your family.

If you're too busy to spend quality time with your family, you're too busy. This includes your spouse, your children, and those in your faith community.

Are you too busy to spend consistent, meaningful time with your spouse?

We are sharing to give you (and us) permission to live a smaller, slower life because Jesus is far bigger, far more precious, and far more active than we ever could be.

Psalm 90:12 says "So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom." Numbering your days starts with realizing your God-given limits. You need rest. You need limited productivity. You need to spend time connecting and reconnecting with those you love most.

Now after resting...and spending time with your spouse, GET IT IN.😘

It’s Hump Day!!!!!
We know many people like spontaneity. Some feel like scheduling s*x with their spouse feels like a chore. And feel as though being reminded of it is uncomfortable and weird.

But it can be just the opposite. Being able to plan a time of romance; conversation, candles, music, lingerie, being intentional on setting the atmosphere can increase your arousal.
