Over the past 140 years, the Overland has seen service as a brothel, gambling house, boarding house, grocery store, bowling alley, and a restaurant. The existing building was rebuilt in 1948, after a fire devastated a third of the town of Pioche. The Overland then took up its current mantle as a hotel, saloon, and dance hall. Our saloon features a magnificent, solid cherry wood back bar originally built in 1863, and a solid mahogany 1868 Brunswick bar. Our hotel registration desk is an antique bank teller's cage dating from the early 1900's, one of the few remaining relics rescued from the eastern Nevada ghost town of Kimberly. The original solid oak flooring has been lovingly restored, ensuring that even your footsteps will echo with the past when you visit The Overland Hotel & Saloon.

🎃 We’re so excited Halloween falls on a Saturday this year! Join us for another fun-filled festival in our little town of Pioche. Bring the family, enjoy some small-town Halloween fun, and make a day of it!

🍻 Stop by the Alamo for drinks during co****le and grab a meal at one of our local dining spots during Trunk or Treat if you’re still hungry after the chili cook-off!

🍬Trunk or Treat: 6 PM (Set up at 5 PM) | Uptown Historic Main Street

👻 Costume Contest: 7 PM
