Meet Chrissie, our Village Leader for our youngest girls in V2! This is Chrissie’s second summer at Camp Tecumseh and has also worked as a counselor in Slovenia for two summers! Chrissie is looking forward to meeting all the staff and campers and having lots of fun with them, while being able to share faith.

Introducing our human for today…Adam, our assistant caretaker. Adam works at camp year round, caring for the property, animals, and buildings. Adam has grown up at camps his whole life and came to Tecumseh as a ‘staff kid’, grew up through TAG and working in the kitchen, and then found his love of maintaining property. This will be Adam’s 19th summer at Tecumseh! Adam loves to create new program areas at camp and is excited to see the campers enjoy them this summer.

Introducing our Camper Consultant, Joyce! Joyce is a teacher during the school year and loves spending her summers at camp helping the campers have their best experience during their week at camp! Joyce was a camper at Camp Tecumseh and is proud that this is her 25th summer working here! Joyce is most excited to sing the ‘Welcome To Tecumseh’ song to our brand new campers this summer!!

Introducing our office manager and canteen director, Kristina! Kristina works year-round for the The Salvation Army’s New Jersey Divisional Youth Department and is the first point of contact for many of you during the paperwork process at camp! She is also mom to her two girls, Sarah and Hannah. Kristina has worked for camp for 18 years and is looking forward to all the fun sessions, the camp community, friendships for the campers, and that their lives would be changed!

. Introducing Nikki! Nikki is our TAG director this summer! TAG stands for ‘Teens After God’ and is a work-mentoring program with a focus on spiritual growth for our 14-17 year old staff! Nikki has worked at Camp Tecumseh as the Dining Hall Supervisor for 3 summers and this year, is excited to take on the role as the TAG director. Nikki has worked for 18 summers at camps within the Salvation Amy in various leadership roles and this summer, is excited to get to know the TAG staff better and be a part of their growth journey!

Introducing our program director, Paige! Paige has been at Camp Tecumseh for 18 summers, as a camper and as a staff member! This is Paige’s fourth summer as program director and is currently planning exciting programs for the campers this summer! She is so excited to see the campers have fun at the all the camp events!

John has been our leader at Camp Tecumseh for 18 summer and in Salvation Army camping for an astounding 45 years as a camper and staff member! John is looking forward to all the moments of joy with this year’s campers and staff!!
