Meet the Yoders 🤍
Sometimes a dream takes a long time to find its home.
We are Jason and Rose Yoder, and for many years, we dreamed about owning and operating an Inn.
We looked at places all over the country. We imagined what it might be like to welcome guests, gather people around a table, create beautiful spaces, and offer a place where weary travelers could slow down and rest.
And then we found Biddle Point.
Somehow, this place felt different.
It didn’t just feel like a property we could just own.
It felt like a place we could call home.
We’ve spent most of our years in the Middlebury area, and recently we made the move to Plymouth so we could live closer to The Inn. It has been a new chapter for our family—and one we are incredibly grateful for.
We have four adult children, two married, and three beautiful grands who bring so much joy to our lives. Family is at the heart of who we are, and perhaps that’s why we love the idea of an Inn so much.
Because an Inn is more than a room with a bed.
It’s a place where stories are shared around the table.
Where people can rest and be refreshed.
Where friendships begin and memories are made.
That is what we hope Biddle Point can be.
We care about the little things—the freshly made treats, the clean and comfortable rooms, The large front porches, the welcoming common spaces, the manicured grounds and gardens.
But most of all, we care about how people feel when they are here.
We want Biddle Point to be a place where you can exhale.
A place to slow down and rest.
We believe God has been in the details of this journey long before we ever walked through the doors of Biddle Point. And we are excited to see how He continues to write the story.

Meet Our General Manager, Mykelle — and Her Daughter, Ellie! 🤍
Behind every great inn is a great team, and today we’re excited to introduce you to Mykelle, our General Manager, and her daughter, Ellie!
Mykelle has been part of the Biddle Point family since the early days, and over the years she has become an expert at just about everything around the Inn — from pressing sheets to processing emails, and everything in between!
She keeps the day-to-day operations moving with speed, ease, and a whole lot of heart. If it’s happening at Biddle Point, there’s a good chance Mykelle knows about it! 😉
But there’s much more to Mykelle than her role at the Inn. When she’s not caring for Biddle Point, she and Ellie love making memories together — usually with their dog, Alfie, somewhere nearby. 🐾
Their favorite things include:
🌅 Chasing sunrises and sunsets
🎶 Listening to music
🧱 Creating LEGOs
🍽️ Trying new restaurants and foods
🧸 Squishy hunting
🎨 Attempting new crafts
🌳 Trips to the park
🏓 Playing pickleball
🎄 Decorating for the holidays

. 📣 A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! 📣
In 2019, Ken and Sarah Norris took a step of faith and purchased an Inn in Plymouth, Indiana. They didn’t know all that lay ahead, but they forged forward—pouring their hearts, sweat, and tears into this beautiful property and lovingly naming it Biddle Point, after one of their favorite spots on Mackinac Island.
For the past seven years, Ken and Sarah have worked tirelessly to create a place where weary travelers, friends, families, and people from the community could come and find rest, peace, and a warm welcome within the walls and grounds of this special property.
In 2022, the Norris family and Jason and Rose Yoder began partnering together to host retreats at Biddle Point. Through that partnership, a beautiful friendship was kindled—one built on a shared love for intentional hospitality, meaningful relationships, and providing quality service to others.
So, when the opportunity came to pass the torch, we were honored and excited to step in faith into a new role as the owners and caretakers of Biddle Point Inn.
We are deeply grateful to Ken and Sarah for the years of love, vision, hard work, and sacrifice they have poured into this place. We know we are not simply taking on a property—we are carrying forward a legacy.
Biddle Point will continue to be a haven for weary travelers, a gathering place for the community, and a space where people can slow down, reconnect, and feel at home.
And we are excited about what lies ahead. ❤️
Plymouth is a wonderful small town filled with friendly people, beautiful historic homes, and a strong sense of community. We feel incredibly blessed to be part of it and to have the opportunity to care for this special place.
