After months of patience, our good friend and park resident, Sammy caught this beautiful redfish when everyone else told him that it wasn't a good night for fishing. Good job Sammy!!

It is so hard to describe the depth of this moment shared between a father and his son… Life goes by in a flash as we become so preoccupied with our own selfish endeavors that we forget how precious is the time we spend with our children. And it is that time we spend… or neglect to spend with them that shapes their lives forever. In the end, what any child truly wants above all else is to enveloped by the love and the adoration of his/her parents. We all know that any man can father a child, but it takes a truly special kind of man to be called “Daddy…” From the moment this father and son duo walked into our park to do a little bonding together, I saw truly, a little boy who adores his daddy more than any words can express, and a father that genuinely adores his son equally. What a precious gift it was to watch this eight-year-old boy reel in this 42” Redfish this morning with his daddy smiling from ear to ear, most likely thinking, “that’s my boy!!!”
