Robin Hood Motel

Robin Hood Motel WE OFFER CLEAN, CLASSIC ACCOMMODATIONS IN A VINTAGE 60'S ESTABLISHMENT The Robin Hood Motel has been a fixture of Raton's Hospitality scene since the 1960's.

Under new ownership, over the next few years the motel will undergo some minor updates, but will keep it's enduring retro charm. We are located at the south end of Raton, less than a block away from the local grocery store and several restaurants. We are less than 4 miles from Raton's downtown, where you will find more restaurants, breweries, historic 1st Street, and local shopping venues. Downtow

n is also where many of the town's events are held, and where you will find the Shuler Theater, the Raton Museum, and the El Raton Theater. At the motel you will find clean, no-frills rooms available with the options of Single Queen, Double Queen, Single King, or our family room, which has three queens and one twin. Our bathrooms are clean and sanitized, although you will find some in need of updates (we are working on it!). We have one of the last outdoor pools left in Raton, which is open seasonally from June through the end of August, depending on the weather. We currently have mini-fridges, microwaves and 32" wall-mounted televisions in all rooms. Rooms also include 4-cup coffee pots and complimentary coffee. Our guest laundry facility houses our ice machine and one coin-operated washer and one coin-operated dryer. We have detergent for sale in the office. In your room you can use the room desk to get work done, or can watch cable or surf the web with our wireless internet. Want more action? You can drive 15 miles to Sugarite State Park, where you can fish, hike, kayak, and boat. The Climax Canyon Nature Hike Trail is even closer, offering the chance to view local wildlife as well as gorgeous views during your hike. Raton's local swimming pool is a great option when our own pool is off-season, and our local golf course is open April through November. We look forward to having you stay with us and to hearing your suggestions for improvements!
