The Road Runner RV and Mobile Home Resort is a 23 acre fully landscaped resort with a tennis court, putting green, 2 basketball courts, picnic areas and a coin operated laundry. We also have the beautiful Red River flowing through the middle of the resort which makes for some great fishing. Our camp store is under renovation but will soon be filled with Road Runner caps and t-shirts, along with a

ny necessities you may have forgotten. We have tennis racquets, tennis balls, putters, golf balls and basketballs available for rent. The Resort is located on the East end of Red River only a 1/2 mile from the center of town. For information about booking an RV site, please call us at 575-754-2286.

Vernon & Bev are in the Camphost Spotlight this week! Bev’s first time in RR was when she was 2 weeks old…she loves it waaaay better now! Vernon and Bev came to RR for the first time together on their 1st anniversary ❤️ and haven’t missed too many summers since then.
Bev loves volunteering at the Community House including calling Bingo (Bingo Bev) and volunteering with the RR Chamber. Her favorite pastime is laying in her hammock and hiking🥾Vernon loves riding his mountain bike and road bike. 🚴🏽‍♂️ This summer they hiked their first 14er in Colorado.⛰️ This is their 4th year to be camphosts and they are Living the Dream!
They love going to Bearly Awake and ordering an “Iced Bev”🧋and a “Hot Vernon” ☕️ They love Yesterdays Diner and Shotguns and ice cream from Little Willie’s. Bev loves how the chips and hot sauce at Sundance still tastes like it did when she was a kid. Thanks for another great year Vernon & Beverly!!

Dutch and Diane Bryant are in the Camphost Spotlight this week. They have been vacationing in Red River for 34 years. They honeymooned here and in 2004 their sons learned to ski here⛷️. Their favorite restaurant in Red River is Bull of the Woods on Thursday steak night 🥩. Diane loves her Bearly Awake “6-7 sweet tea” and turnovers from Little Willie’s while Dutch will pick LW’s homemade Huckleberry ice cream 🍨. In his spare time, Dutch can be seen catching his limit in the river 🎣. They enjoy attending FBC here in Red River & hearing Pastor Joe. When they aren’t living in Red River, they are in Weatherford Texas. This is their 2nd summer as camp hosts and Lord willing won’t be their last! D&D have 5 grandkids who have loved their squishy butters 🧈from Memaw this summer. Dutch & Diane’s 11 year old grandson, Jackson, was upset that they spend so much time here…until he came to visit them for over a month this summer and now he totally understands! IYKYK! Welcome Dutch and Diane~~we love working with you!

Bob & Jeanette are this week’s spotlighted camphosts. They are from North Richland Hills, Texas, and love the simple joys of life and the friendships we make along the way. Some of their favorite places to eat in town are Yesterday’s and Main Street Pizzeria, where they always enjoy good food and a welcoming atmosphere.

During their time here in Red River, they have loved walking into town, taking drives around the beautiful Enchanted Circle, spending time with their pups, having their 12 grandchildren visit them and visiting with fellow campers at Road Runner. They especially enjoy relaxing on the porch, playing games together, and serving as camp hosts at Road Runner.

“The memories we’ve made here, the wonderful people we’ve met, and the adventures we’ve shared have made this experience truly special to us.”
