❤️ SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY… IT’S DOING THE RIGHT THING. 🌴🙏🏼

We’re a small, family-owned business, and for us, this one was a no-brainer.

We have a hurricane policy in place that we believe is fair and honorable to both our guests and our property owners. ❤️

Hurricanes are unpredictable, and we believe everyone deserves to be treated with fairness, compassion, and understanding when Mother Nature has other plans.

Last week, we offered our guests the option of receiving a refund for any unused nights if they needed to leave early to get home safely ahead of the storm.🚗✈️

For our guests scheduled to arrive this week, we chatted with each of them, shared what we knew about the storm's aftermath, and gave them some insight into what to expect. With the uncertainty surrounding power, internet, and the overall beach experience, we issued full refunds without hesitation.

We know they REALLY wanted to come! ❤️ They had their fall beach vacation planned and were looking forward to soaking up the sunshine, feeling that sugar-white sand between your toes, and enjoying our beautiful beaches.

🌴☀️ We know how disappointing it is when Mother Nature has other plans, and this simply wasn't the vacation they had envisioned.

Why? Because we simply cannot deliver the vacation experience they booked and paid for, and that just doesn't sit right with us.

Listen, we know we're a small family business, and every reservation matters to us. We also know our property owners depend on us to look out for their investments. That's why having a fair, thoughtful hurricane policy matters. It allows us to approach these difficult situations with consideration for everyone involved.

But at the end of the day, doing the right thing matters MORE. ❤️

Our guests are not just reservation numbers. They're families who have saved, planned, and looked forward to their time at the beach. The last thing anyone needs during a stressful situation like this is to worry about losing their vacation money, too.

We believe in treating people the way we'd want our own family to be treated. No arguing, no making a difficult situation even harder, and no forgetting that there's a real person on the other end of that reservation.

Let's pay it forward, y'all. ❤️

At the end of the day, Southern Hosptality isn't just a name on our business. It's how we believe people should be treated.

We may not be the biggest vacation rental company on the beach, but we will always do our best to be the kind of people you can count on. That's what “Where Southern Hospitality Meets the Beach” means to us. 🌴❤️

Good morning, friends, guests & beach family! ❤️🌴

Well… it looks like Mother Nature may have a little something brewing for the Emerald Coast. 🌀 We’re keeping a very close eye on the storm and hoping and praying this thing decides to weaken rather than strengthen! 🙏🏼

Yesterday was a busy one! I’ve been texting, emailing, talking on the phone and communicating with our current guests about early departures, our incoming guests about their plans, and doing my best to keep everyone informed as things change.

Right now, the most important thing is keeping everyone safe, informed and updated. We’re taking things one step at a time and will continue to communicate with our guests as we know more.

I’ll be sharing updates, pictures and information here, so stay tuned! 📱🌊

And if you’re wondering what the official hurricane preparedness beverage is… I believe it’s time for cup MORE coffee. ☕😂

You know what makes me REALLY happy and truly blessed? When a guest has just checked in for her 5th stay with us… and she’s already ready to book her next trip! 🥰🏖️

Yep… the happy dance is ON! 💃🏻💃🏻

We may be a small family-owned business, but our guests become so much more than reservations on a calendar. They become familiar names, friendly faces, repeat visitors, and honestly… part of the Southern Hospitality family. 🏡🌴

Getting a message like this reminds us just how special it is to have people who trust us with their beach time again and again and again. ❤️

Just a little strut down the beach… 😂

No rushing. No worries. No agenda. Just struttin’ down the beach like he owns the place… probably wondering why all these people are interrupting his vacation! 🤣🏖️

Honestly, I think we could all take a lesson from this little guy: slow down, enjoy the view, and occasionally strut like nobody’s watching! 😂💃

🚨 Mainsail has officially entered the future! 🚨

Well, technology is at it again! 🚁🧼 Mainsail is getting a bath... BY DRONE! 😂

Forget ladders and scaffolding—apparently, we now have flying cleaning crews! 🚁💦 Who knew the building would be getting a spa day from the sky? 🤣

So if you're staying with us or visiting Mainsail and hear something buzzing overhead, don’t worry... it’s not the FBI or a flock of giant mosquitoes! 😂🐝 It’s just technology giving the building a good scrub! ✨🧼

Well, friends… if you’ve been following along, you already know about my deck box saga! 😂

But guess what?! 🎉 The replacement boxes are here, and I’m happy to report that THEY ACTUALLY HAVE BOTTOMS! 😂🙌 We even managed to put one together!

So yes… we officially have storage boxes for our patios and balconies at the beach! Now we just have the small task of putting ALL the rest of them together! 😳😂

Life is good, the beach is beautiful, and there is NEVER a dull moment in the vacation rental business! 🌴☀️🏖️
