We are SO EXCITED to see our Skis in this article!!! We contacted this sweet couple at Florida Adventures and they came to visit us after church on Lake Jackson for a beautiful afternoon to explore the lake. They have the same love for our community. 💙 Lakeview Water Sports appreciates them coming to visit us that day and sharing their experience. We can't wait to see them again for video #2!

Ashton Griffin and Summer Cartwright have often heard a phrase that many Highlands County residents have heard at some point in their lives: "There’s nothing to do here."
However, these young people decided to do something about it and show the community all the incredible things the county has to offer.
On July 5, 2026, the couple launched a video series in which they would spend 365 days visiting and documenting restaurants, businesses and activities available to both residents and visitors in Highlands County. This marked the beginning of Florida Adventures, a page aimed at showcasing the variety of places and activities the county has to offer.
