What an incredibly potent day May 1st is this year with the Scorpio Wesak Full Moon falling on the sacred day of Beltane, also known as 'May Day'.
There is so much to share here about this powerful and transformational day so bear with me!
The Wesak Scorpio Full Moon is the most powerful Full Moon of the year, not just because it is in Scorpio but because it is at this Full Moon that the Buddha was born, reached enlightenment and left his Earthly incarnation.
Every year spiritual initiates gather in the Wesak Valley of the Himalayan mountains in deep ceremony to welcome the Buddha and other Enlightened Ones who return to bring profound blessings to the Earth and humanity. It is a sacred time when initiates renew their spiritual vows for the year ahead and devote themselves to their Path of Service. I will share more about the Wesak Festival below as it is incredibly important.
I wanted to share a little about the astrological 'signature' for this
Full Moon:
The Sun will be at 11+ of Ta**us opposite the Moon at 11+ of Scorpio. Notice where this falls in your own astrological chart. It will be particularly potent for those with planets from 3 - 19 degrees of fixed signs: Ta**us, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.
The themes for this Full Moon are around our use of the valuable resources of the Earth and in our own lives, as well as the use and abuse of power and sexuality. Issues around these areas of life will be highlighted.
The Scorpio Full Moon will bring the 'shadow' to the surface and help us to transmute, transform and alchemize all that emerges. It is a very deep and powerfully emotional sign, that yearns for soul level connection. It's symbol is the 'Scorpion' that can sting, in it's lower expression, and the 'Phoenix' in it's higher expression that is the Phoenix rising from the ashes of the old.
What are you alchemizing and transforming right now in your psyche and in your life so that you may be reborn and rise up from the ashes of the old??
It blew my mind to find the Sabian Symbol for 11-12 degrees of Scorpio is:
'An Embassy Ball'. After what happened last week with the gunman storming the presidential gathering and the ball room at the White House that is angering many of us it is quite synchronistic that this is the symbol for this Full Moon.
'An Embassy Ball' can be seen as a place that brings together people of different cultures and points of view to find a common ground and to experience a larger group consciousness.
According to many translations this image points to the need for diplomacy and tact in complex relationships, balancing personal ambition with a responsibility to the Collective whole of humanity.
To me this points to the Aquarian Age consciousness that is needing to birth within our larger societal structures and certainly within our governments that are operating from personal gain and greed rather than for what is for the highest good for ALL beings, and all Life, including our Planet. Perhaps this will be brought into focus at this Full Moon!
Also in the signature of this potent Scorpio Full Moon:
Mercury will be in exact conjunction with Chiron in Aries here to help us heal our wounds around communication, bringing into our awareness any ways we have held our voices back, not spoken our truth, or used our words unwisely.
On this day you may become acutely aware of any blocks in your throat chakra as well as any ways you have not felt free to express your true & unique Self, your authentic voice and your individuality. Be very mindful around your communication today and the power of your words to heal or to hurt.
Pluto conjunct Goddess Asteroid Juno
in Aquarius is here to bring deep transformational energies to our
relationships, our issues around commitment and devotion to our beloved ones. It will support a deep cleansing, purification and healing of all that is not in alignment in our relationships.
Saturn is still close to Neptune which is conjunct Pallas Athena in Aries. Tune into your inner spiritual warrior/ess. What is calling you into action right now? What wisdom can you bring with you as you move forward into the new chapter of your life? What higher truth do you need to speak?
Uranus is solidly in Gemini now not too far from Venus who is now in the Solar Plexus Ascent Gateway in her 19 month cycle, reclaiming her power and sovereignty. In Gemini pointing towards our communication and also breaking out of old belief systems and narratives that have held us captive and keep us in duality, polarity and separation.
With so much in Fire and Air planetarily the Ta**us Scorpio Full Moon is here to remind us not to forget about staying in touch with the depths of our souls and our sacred body temples.
To say the least, this is a super potent Full Moon Portal.
In the Great Wheel of the Year, May 1st is known as Beltane and one of four fire Festivals in honor the Sacred Marriage of Earth and Sun, Feminine and Masculine.
In the ancient Gaelic tradition Beltane is a celebration of the peak of Spring as the growing light of the Sun dances with the fecund body Mother Earth.
Through their sacred dance fertility is awakened across the lands.
This ancient festival has been celebrated in sacred rituals of dancing around the May Pole weaving together ribbons representing masculine and feminine integrating together. It was also honored by making and wearing crowns of flowers, as well as jumping over a bon-fire while affirming your dreams, and celebrating this sacred time with song, dance, drumming & remembrance.
This time is also the honored as the mid-point between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, with the true astrological mid-point being on May 5th this year when the Sun is at 15 degrees of Ta**us.
In the Southern Hemisphere, it is the mid-point between the Autumnal Equinox and Winter Solstice and is the time there of Samhain, the time to honor the Ancestors as the veils between the world's thins.
The month of May, is named after Maia, the Greek goddess of fertility and flowers of which May is known for.
Today we pause to celebrate the awakening fertility of Mother Gaia and the warmth of the growing Sun in the North, as the Earth comes alive with new life burgeoning everywhere....
As the life force of Mother Gaia
surges forth in the sacred dance
with the rains and the Sun....
as the Nature Spirits and Devas
tend the newly germinating seeds,
plants and flowers...
We give thanks to these ones for
all the energy and life-force
they are bringing forth for all of us
and for the abundance of this
year’s harvest ahead!!

At this sacred time take a moment to honor the union of Masculine and Feminine within you and within nature all around you...
It is a powerful time to create a ceremony to bring these energies
into sacred balance and harmony within you so you can birth new life, new projects... and new creations in your life...
For it is from the Sacred Marriage
of the Masculine & Feminine within...
The Sacred Marriage Love & Truth...
Love & Light, Dark and Light, Yin & Yang within that the true Power of Creation is Activated!!
You can do a sacred meditation in your heart temple where you invite your masculine and feminine to join you and have them face each other to begin communing with each other.
Maybe there is forgiveness needed for deeper connection to occur, or perhaps they have some things they need to work out to come back into sacred balance and union with each other within your sacred heart temple.
Once they have worked things out and they are ready to come into Sacred Union or Marriage you can imagine a figure eight flow of energy between their sacred hearts, like the infinity sign...
See this flowing freely between them.
You can do this figure eight flow of energy between all of their chakras starting in the heart and then going up to the soul star and crown chakras and then down through the third eye, throat, thymus or high heart chakra, then back into the heart, down into the solar plexus, hara at the belly button, down into the sacral and then root/base and earth star with this flow of energy moving between them.
This is a beautiful way to bring their sacred energies together.
You can also bring your masculine and feminine pillars of light, that are on your left and right sides, into sacred relationship by imagining a figure eight flow of energy between them.
Once this is complete you may be guided to have them embrace or make love to each other within you.
This ceremony can also be done with a sacred partner that you wish to come into deeper union and sacred relationship with and can be consummated in sexual and divine union with your beloved.
This is also a beautiful time to renew any marriage or relationship vows you may have with a partner or within yourself.
Be creative with your ceremony and bring as much Love, Beauty, Light and Grace to this through your sacred heart connection.
THIS IS A TIME TO CELEBRATE...
Back now to the deeper meaning of the Wesak Full Moon Festival.
This Festival is focused in the Wesak Valley deep in the Himalayan Mountains of Tibet where hundreds of spiritual initiates, teachers, leaders, light-workers and yogis, who are devoted to the evolution of humanity, gather on both the physical and spiritual planes. Their intention is to gather this potent light to dispense to humanity in the coming days and months and to inspire their spiritual path of service for the year ahead.
During this most sacred time the energies of Enlightenment are available to all of humanity and the doorways between the spiritual realms and the earth are open wide. It is a potent time to align with the Enlightened Ones and Ascended Masters, with the Sisterhoods and Brotherhoods of Light who guide our planet and assist us in our evolution and spiritual growth.
This is a time when the Buddha and the Christ come together, East and West, joining in sacred ceremony for the benefit and enlightenment of humanity and All beings.
It is truly a time to open your heart and soul to receive the beautiful spiritual energies, light, love and wisdom that are pouring forth from the realms of Light.
Through the Buddha, we are blessed with the profound Light and Wisdom of God-Source.
Through the Christ, we are blessed with the Love of God-Source pouring forth to all of humanity.
Through the Boddhisattvas we are blessed with immense Compassion for all beings.
Many beings join across the Earth in sacred ceremony to honor this most auspicious time, linking hearts and opening to receive the powerful Codes of Light that are pouring forth.
Wesak represents the beginning of a New Spiritual year and is a time when the spiritual energy for the next 12 months is being prepared for humanity.
This is a perfect time to review and reflect upon the passing year, to release your spiritual contracts that are complete now, giving thanks for all you have received, giving thanks for all the blessings, lessons, sacred learning, all the ways that you have grown throughout the year.
Leading up to the Scorpio Full Moon you may have had memories arising from your unconscious, and deep feelings and emotions emerging from the depths of your soul for you to feel, to reflect upon and transmute during this powerful Full Moon. Just allow whatever needs to arise to arise and just be with it as a loving observer but also allow yourself to feel it ALL.
Remember at this sacred time, you don’t have to do it all alone,
there is immense spiritual support during this time to help, support and guide you.
This Full Moon has the potential to bring deep healing and forgiveness forth as all these beings come to bless you, humanity and our beloved Planet.
Remember this is a most potent time of purification of our physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and energy bodies.
So it is best to surrender all resistance and allow the healing and blessings to pour forth to you.
Receive. Receive. Receive and give thanks.
The actual day of the Wesak Full moon is considered the most auspicious day and is called the 'Day of Safeguarding'. It is a time of spiritual retreat, a time to still your mind, find inner peace and prepare yourself deeply.
The Wesak Ceremony has a particularly strong focus during the 8 minutes surrounding the exact moment of the Full Moon as this is considered the time of the most potent frequency of Light. Here the initiates, led by the Christ, gather in the Wesak Valley, and form a pentagram (the Venusian symbol of the world soul) while the Buddha hovers over bringing forth an immense
Light for all to receive.
It is good to feel yourself as a chalice during this time, opening to receive the profound blessings of light into your sacred heart, to then pour and radiate them out to bless Mother Earth, Humanity and ALL beings in the days after this powerful ceremony.
The beauty of this ceremony is that it bridges all faiths, all spiritual paths, all beliefs and reminds us of our Unity and Oneness. It is a time to remember our Divinity and the Divinity within ALL beings, within all of life.
During the whole week surrounding the Wesak Full Moon it is a time to deeply focus on the needs of Humanity and Mother Earth, and to focus on our path of service for the betterment and enlightenment of ALL beings. It is a time to purify our mind, heart, soul and Spirit, to keep our vibration clear and pure, and to focus on the Light and the Love that is abundantly available to us.
So on this most potent day of Beltane and the Wesak Scorpio Full Moon may you feel the immense Love, Light, Compassion, Forgiveness, Peace and Grace pouring forth from the Spiritual Realms flowing into your Heart and Soul... awakening & expanding your Spirit... comforting and soothing your Heart... deepening your Soul!
May the infinite blessings of this day of Sacred Union bring balance to your life.
May you release your old contracts from the passing spiritual year and dedicate yourself on your spiritual path at this time of great change and powerful movement forward.
