As twilight falls, you’re welcome to chase fireflies, star gaze, or even enjoy some night fishing. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen including new, stainless appliances, microwave, Crock Pot, blender, toaster, electric teakettle, and your choice of Keurig, Nespresso, and coffee maker. A rolling wine and coffee bar can double as an extra workspace if you’re really ambitious in the kitchen. The utility room off the kitchen hosts brand new, large capacity washer/dryer for all of your laundry needs. The bedrooms have been designed so that you can settle in and make this your home away from home; one with a queen size sleigh bed, the other with a double bed and twin trundle. In each, you will find a full-size closet, large dresser, and flat screen TV, along with luxurious pillows and linens that will envelop you at the end of your day. If you don’t want to wait until bedtime, feel free to indulge in an afternoon snooze since the black out curtains will make it cozy and dark for you. The living area features a 55” flat screen TV, wood-burning fireplace, and amazing views of the lake from anywhere you sit. It’s stocked with games to make fun family memories and an array of books to savor in the reading nook. The couch transforms into a double bed with a gel memory foam mattress, and if you need to stay connected, our WiFi goes all the way to the waterfront. This home is conveniently located about 13 miles from New Braunfels, home of Schlitterbahn (the world’s best water park), Naeglin’s (the oldest bakery in Texas), Landa Park (paddleboat rentals, mini golf, mini train, aquatic complex), New Braunfels Farmer’s Market, and tubing down the Guadalupe or Comal rivers. We’re about 16 miles from Gruene, home of Gruene Hall (Texas’ oldest continually operating and most famous dance hall) and the Gristmill Restaurant plus a host of shopping and restaurants. San Antonio is about 30 miles away, with famous attractions including the downtown Riverwalk, Sea World, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and The Alamo. Austin, aka Live Music Capitol of the World, is about an hour away with famous attractions including the State Capitol, Mount Bonnell, SoCo District, Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool, the University of Texas, and the LBJ Presidential Library. In addition, the Circuit of the Americas track and venue is less than an hour away from here, and we can arrange the purchase of seats at Turn 1 for any event with enough advanced notice (F1, Moto GP, Le Mans, X Games, and Austin360 Amphitheater).
