Gilgal Oasis RV Park Owners - Pete & Lisa Niemeyer We’re Pete and Lisa Niemeyer, the husband-and-wife team behind Gilgal Oasis RV Park.

We’re so glad you’ve found your way to our little corner of Sequim, Washington. We both grew up camping and have always had a deep love for the outdoors. Over the years, that love grew into a lifestyle spending weekends in nature, taking RV trips with our daughter, and exploring the Northwest with friends and family. Eventually, we realized it was time to trade in the suits and office hours for so

mething more meaningful and aligned with the life we truly love. After years in the corporate world, we left it behind and took a leap of faith. Originally from Vancouver, Washington, we spent 15 wonderful years living in Bend, Oregon, soaking up its wild beauty and vibrant outdoor culture. When the opportunity came along to create a space that combined our passion for camping, community, and hospitality we didn’t hesitate. In 2017, we became the owners of Gilgal Oasis RV Park, and from day one, we’ve poured our hearts into making it a place where travelers don’t just pass through but feel at home. We designed the park to reflect what we value most as RVers ourselves: peaceful surroundings, clean and modern amenities, and genuine, down-to-earth hospitality. Whether you’re staying for a night, a couple of weeks or an entire season, our hope is that you’ll find rest, connection, and maybe even a few new friendships here. You’ll often find us around the park greeting guests, helping park a rig, or sharing our favorite local attractions and food spots. Gilgal Oasis RV Park is currently booked during the August 1st ride. We have many sites available before and after so you can enjoy the self - guided ride. You can also get on our wait-list.

The self-guided option is typically available during two seasonal windows:

This scenic loop ride offers ample public parking and easy access to the route.

Registration Includes

Participants receive:

A Tour de Lavender swag bag
Paper & digital route maps
Farm operating hours packet

A portion of proceeds benefits the Olympic Discovery Trail.

Route Highlights 🌿
Distance

Approximately 35 miles of mostly flat, low-traffic riding.

Scenic Trail Riding

Enjoy miles of cycling along the paved, off-road
Olympic Discovery Trail.

Lavender Farm Stops

The self-guided route allows riders to explore at their own pace while visiting approximately 5 iconic blooming lavender farms throughout the area.

Tips for Your Ride

Best Bloom Timing
Lavender is usually in its most vibrant bloom during mid-to-late July.

What to Bring:
Dress in layers
Bring plenty of water
Pack panniers or a backpack for lavender goodies and farm purchases
Don’t forget sunscreen and your camera 📸💜
