It's almost that time of year again! Thanksgiving wood splitting at Cavers Paradise! We've got LOTS of logs ready to cut & split. Bring a chainsaw if you have one. Friday night turkey dinner, Saturday thanksgiving left overs! Free camping for volunteers!

Everyone had a great time at the TAG Fallternative Caving Weekend!! About 100 folks from as far away as Tampa, northern Indiana and North Carolina, among others gathered for friendship and caving!

If anyone is coming to Cavers Paradise for Columbus Day weekend from New York or northern New Jersey and has room for some boxes, the convention folks have some stuff they are trying to get to the NSS HQ. I can get it to the HQ from TN.

Columbus Day Weekend is quickly approaching. With the TAG Fall Cave In cancelled this year, lots of folks will be coming to Cavers Paradise. I want everyone to know that this is not a caving 'event'. There will be no organized events, no organized led cave trips, no vendors, food trucks, band or beer. There will be lots of cavers, lots of caving and lots of fellowship. We have a few rules. The first is NO WHINING!!! Also, no on ground fires outside of established fire rings. We do have hot showers, both in the bathhouse and field showers in the Party Zone. The hot tub and sauna will be fired up. Please be respectful of my neighbors. Please drive slowly on Old Sewanee Road and Wildheart Lane. The speed limit at Cavers Paradise is 5 mph. The camping fee is $5 per person, per night. Kids 12 & under are free. Remember it it 12 miles to anything (food, gas, etc.)

We may be pretty full. So be respectful of the folks camping near you. I do reserve the right to decide the campground is full. If you wait until Saturday evening to show up, be prepared to go somewhere else. I do have room for about 400, but that is it. I know there are folks coming from as far away at North Carolina, Tampa and Chicago. It should be a great weekend to catch up with your friends. There will be a place to check in and pay your camping fee on the way in. Signing waivers will be required. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
