This clean, comfy historical bed and breakfast in Slippery Rock, PA, is equipped with modern amenities and the charm of a country Inn with breakfast served on-property. Originally built in 1844, the farmhouse was renovated and lovingly restored in the late 1980s to the Inn you see today compl

ete with its original poplar and chestnut wooden flooring and 5 fireplaces. The Applebutter Inn offers guests a spacious shared sunroom, living room and dining areas on the main floor, in addition to 12 guests rooms, each outfitted with their own private bath and individual a/c and heating units in the newer part of the home. Three of the original 4 bedrooms include gas fireplaces and furnace heat in the original farmhouse area of the home. Guests can experience the elegance of a bygone era, while enjoying the luxury of today's comforts, like brand new 14” memory foam mattresses in every room and Wi-Fi throughout the property. Now part of the Slippery Rock Golf Club and Events Center, it’s the perfect space to host a private event in addition to hosting overnight guests! Located one hour north from the Pittsburgh airport, 1 hour south of Erie, minutes from Slippery Rock University, Grove City Outlets, and a short drive to Moraine and McConnell Mills State Parks. 🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Carrie Clark, Bar Manager & Live Music Coordinator 🌟

We would like to shout out our Bar Manager and Live Music Coordinator Carrie Clark. She started bartending & serving with us in March of 2022 and has been a constant smiling face behind the bar and greeting guests ever since.

Carrie has an unmatched willingness to see our club be successful and that our valued members and guests always leave happy. She took over scheduling and promoting our live music events in 2024🎶🎸, and was recently promoted to Bar Manager at the start of this year. 🥂🍾

Carrie is now entering her 5th golf season with SRGC!!⛳️🏌🏼‍♂️🏌🏻‍♀️ We would like you to join us in thanking her for her years of dedicated service and hard work. We love you Carrie!💚
