Bill and I had such a great 10-night stay at Talking Rock RV Resort with our poodle Lucy and Bernese mountain dog Zoe.
We spent our days exploring some of North Georgia’s best spots. One of our favorite meals was at The Pullman restaurant in Blue Ridge where the food was foolishly delicious. We also made a day trip to Helen and had lunch at Bodensee. If you enjoy authentic German food, it’s definitely worth a visit.
The highlight of the trip was probably Brasstown Bald. The views from the observation deck are incredible, and it’s hard to believe you’re looking out across multiple states. Amicalola Falls was another favorite. Seeing that much water cascading down the mountainside was something we’ll remember for a long time. Pictures don’t really do it justice!
When we weren’t out exploring, we were perfectly happy spending time at the resort. I really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful it was relaxing by the pool. At night, Bill and I enjoyed ci**rs while Lucy and Zoe relaxed. It was the perfect place to slow down between adventures.
We came from Nashville, Tennessee looking for a relaxing getaway and found exactly that. Thanks to everyone at Talking Rock for a wonderful stay - we have already booked another 10 day trip in August!
