General chairman Heath Jacobs is working on a Time claim to try to get machinist maintenance jobs back. He is needing as many statements from members as possible regarding how long they have worked at the Topeka facility and understood that Machinists took care, in part, of facility maintenance, crane maintenance, and mobile maintenance needs. Please include any details on what your view of the job was and what all these maintenance positions did, such as facility maintenance helped move and install equipment, crane maintenance repaired mechanical issues and performed any inspections and preventative maintenance, mobile maintenance serviced and repaired any mobile equipment on property, etc. whatever your view or understanding of those jobs was.

These statements can be written out and turned into Nick Marsh, they can be emailed directly to Heath Jacobs

(1-423-807-6004), or myself or Nick Marsh and forwarded to Mr Jacobs. He is needing these as soon as possible to appeal the claim within the 60 days allowed. The more detailed and specific the better but more importantly he needs a large number of the members to write a statement, the more the better.
