We have clear skies, cooler temps, and a NE breeze this morning and a great forecast for several days!

CJ is pictured with a nice red drum which he caught and released early yesterday morning! We caught blues, Spanish, and drum during the day yesterday, and spots, VA mullet, drum, and blues last night. Lots of baitfish are coming down the beach. Flounder season is open through 9/14/26.

It’s hot and sunny today, with a light SSW breeze. The forecast calls for a cooling trend by Sunday, with possible showers in the evening.

Pier fishing improved this week, with Spanish, blues, red and black drum, flounder, and VA mullet caught.

It’s a really nice quiet day at the beach today! We have an easterly breeze, clear water, and lots of sunshine 😎

Pier fishing has been good today for Spanish and blues, and they have been hitting all day! Red drum are also in the mix. Lots of glass minnows are all around the pier. Last night we caught some VA mullet. Flounder season opens tomorrow!

Bright sunshine is back! We have clear green water, with a light Easterly wind today.

Fishing is starting to pick up! Lots of blues this morning, and a few Spanish, hitting GotCha lures. Good amount of baitfish around the pier today. Last night we caught trout, spots, VA mullet, and croakers and yesterday we hooked up a tarpon! Flounder season opens September 1st, and goes thru the 14th!

It’s a pretty, calm day here today - a bit cooler this morning, and now sunny with a light breeze, with clear skies predicted for the next few days.

The Spanish made a good run on the pier this morning! Several nice red and black drum were landed last night.

We have clouds with a silver lining this morning! Sunshine and clouds with possible thundershowers are in the forecast for today. It’s much cooler right now!

We caught some Spanish and blues from the pier yesterday afternoon, and some drum and croakers last night.

Sunny and hot today! We have a light offshore breeze this morning, and a calm ocean. Schools are starting to go back, and the beach is noticeably quieter now.

Sunrise this morning! Another hot summer day today, with a light breeze from the South.

Greg is pictured with a 27 lb. King he caught earlier this week! With the current heat, the best fishing has been very early in the mornings, then late afternoons for some Spanish, and then at night for drum, trout, and blues. The 2026 NC flounder season is 2 weeks away - open September 1-14 this year.

Today’s low tide beach, perfect for beach walking! Sunny, warm, and a light westerly breeze this morning.

Tyler released a tarpon estimated at 80 lbs. yesterday afternoon, and Joe is pictured with a nice black drum caught last night. Good numbers of menhaden have been going by the pier every day.

Another sunny summer day! We have a light breeze from the South this morning, with a good forecast through tomorrow.

Last night the pier fishing picked up, with a good run of black drum, as well as VA mullet, blues, and pompano.

This morning we've seen some nice slot and over size red drum.
