The Early Bird (or Frog) Gets the Worm! 🐸☕️
Welcome the newest (and quietest) member of the Olde Mill Stream family! Meet "Phillip," our new Head of Security... or maybe just our most dedicated employee.

Phillip believes that if you're not 15 minutes early, you're late. He’s been camped out at the front door since 6:00 AM, waiting patiently for someone to unlock the office and let him start his day.

Look at that posture! The definition of professionalism and commitment. If you have any flies to file, he's ready for you.

Help us give Phillip a very warm welcome! (And maybe someone bring him some coffee? Or, uh, flies?)

Good morning, everyone! ☀️ We’ve been keeping a little quiet and staying offline the last few days while we’ve been hard at work getting the park all freshly mowed and shipshape.

With everyone starting to head back our way soon, we want Olde Mill Stream looking absolute top-notch for your arrival! We are so excited to see familiar faces return and to kick off another wonderful season together.

A huge, special shoutout to all our northern friends for sending your cold front all the way down here! 🥶📦

We woke up to a crisp 68° and felt brave enough to step outside, only to realize that "fallback weather" means dusting off the hoodies we bought in 2019 and pretending we live in Vermont for about forty-eight hours.

If anyone needs me, I'll be dramatic under three blankets drinking hot coffee while the thermostat figures out its life choices. Send more soup. ☕️🫕🍂

🦋 Bittersweet news from our butterfly sanctuary..

Monday morning, we witnessed the magic of transformation as one of our Monarch butterflies successfully eclosed and is doing wonderfully! ✨ Watching a new life unfold is always breathtaking.

However, nature can be heartbreakingly fragile. Two of our other butterflies also emerged, but neither will survive. One fell from its chrysalis with severely crumpled wings, and the other's wings failed to form properly at all. 💔

While we are celebrating the successful flight of our healthy butterfly, our hearts are heavy for the ones that won't make it. Raising them gives us so much joy, but the losses are always tough to bear.

Rest softly, little ones. 🐛💛🦋

They are scouring older posts and tagging individuals who previously liked or commented.

Their goal is to trick you into engaging and privately messaging them to steal your personal information.

How to stay safe:

Do not engage with anyone you do not know or trust.

Do not take the bait if you notice someone tagging you or asking you to send a private message.

We have already noticed someone attempting this tactic with a couple of our residents. Please look out for one another, ignore these suspicious tags, and never share personal or financial details online!

I remove the ones that I can find, but sometimes they are buried in our feed and I cannot find them!
