My heart is so full of gratitude these days, and I honestly can’t believe how many pinch me moments I’ve experienced lately.

To every client who has welcomed me into your home... thank you.

To everyone who has referred my name to a friend, family member, neighbor, or colleague... thank you.

A few months ago, I took one of the biggest leaps of my career and left the corporate retail world after 20 years to pursue CarMELLA Design Studio full-time. It was one of the scariest—and best—decisions I’ve ever made.

Because of you, my calendar and my ❤️ are full.
Every day, I get to wake up and do work I genuinely love while helping create beautiful, functional spaces for the most incredible clients.

A little behind the scenes from a coastal farmhouse project I’m currently designing.

Every project starts with a vision, and this one is coming together through layers of soft blues, natural textures, warm woods, timeless finishes, and carefully selected pieces that create a home that feels relaxed, elevated, and lived in.

These are just a few of the materials and design details shaping the space, and I can’t wait to share the finished result.

Sometimes pantries just need a reset, not more bins.

This family already had organizers—they were just missing a system.
We repurposed most of what they already owned, added a few additional pieces, and created homes for snacks, baking supplies, breakfast items, and everyday ingredients, and made better use of the vertical space.

Now finding what they need (and putting things away!) is so much easier.

Because organizing isn’t about buying more stuff. It’s about creating systems that save time, reduce stress, and make everyday life easier.

Function is always the first priority. It looking Beautiful is just the bonus.
