The response since coming home and settling in has been overwhelmingly beautiful.
Somehow the forecast from hell resulted in zero rain drops on a single bands head during the flow of the fest.
Not like the forecast scared much of anyone away because this was the best one yet.
Big Ups to the clean up/folks who loaded out today because thats when the weather hit the hardest, we had to persevere. As i always say with the Holler, survival is part of the fun.
But yeah, what can i say that i didnt say 100 times this weekend, thank you to the Vibrolas crew for being the literal best humans on Earth, the kindest and most gentle of souls that allowed our heavy circus to invade their orbit with nothing but hugs and utmost enthusiasm and passion that any humans could possibly have.
Thanks to Anthony Grigsby that got his due thank yous from folks this year, I literally cant pull any bit of this off without him and weve been curators of this magic for more than half our lives, its a beautiful thing weve sunk our teeth into.
Major thanks to the entire line up of bands, everyone was top tier professional, and im glad we created an environment that clearly resonated with all our newcomers. I believe its the most on time one of these has ever ran. I think i set a record for hugs given and i love yous uttered, everyone inspires us to be better, and we'll keep pushing the standard as time goes on.
Major thanks for the first collection of sponsors we've ever had that helped us afford the dopest backdrop, the fine folks of Haggtronix, T**e Mage, and And Now The Band podcast helped immensely in getting this where it got to and now we know in the future how to better navigate securing a few more to give you the best experience imagineable.
Thanks for sound man Brandon Wright , we throw the entire kitchen sink at that dude every year and he never flinches a bit and always reassures that what we're doing out here is special.
Thanks to the vendors and food trucks, thanks to all the folks from all the different states that are going to be spreading the gospel of the Holler all through the land.
I get alot of credit for doing whatever but literally im such a tiny part of something thats bigger than all of us, this year was celebrating new beginnings, reminiscing on the sometimes sweet, sometimes bitter, sometimes bittersweet memories of the past, the simple fact and through line though is that Holler of Doom is a place filled with love, and in turn the Holler heals.
If ya missed 666, if youve been on the fence, if you think youre missing out, put us in your search bar right now and look at the outpouring of enthusiasm and tell me you can resist wanting to experience the electric dynamite first hand.
We love you all, thank you
See ya at 7
