The Satilla River is our home, our playground, and a place worth protecting, and keeping it beautiful takes all of us!

Join Satilla Riverkeeper for our River-wide Cleanup on Saturday, September 26th! Grab your friends, family, paddling crew, or coworkers and help us make a difference for the river we love.

Volunteering is a great way to get outside, meet fellow river lovers, and give back to the Satilla. Every piece of trash we remove helps protect the river and the wildlife that depend on it.

🏕️ TIP TUESDAY: The campsite “junk basket.”

You know how you set up camp nice and organized...

…and 6 hours later there are shoes, bug spray, dog stuff, towels, toys and approximately 47 random things scattered everywhere? 😂

Bring an empty laundry basket.

Keep it outside and toss all those random campsite things into it throughout the day. When it’s time to head in for the night, grab the whole basket and go.

Less clutter. Less “WHERE DID I PUT THAT?” More time relaxing under the trees. 🌳
