This summertime guest favorite breakfast is back on our menus this summer - Chef Mark's house smoked salmon in a quesadilla with an egg, of course, because anything can be breakfast when you add an egg. This may have been our Southwestern breakfast entree for today, but it isn't spicy unless a guest wants it - and dips into the dots of siracha sauce along the side of the plate.

The news just keeps getting better for our inn - #16, we just can’t believe it. This week we were named one of Tripadvisor's Top 20 Bed & Breakfasts and Inns in the United States. To see Sheridan House Inn at #16, alongside such an extraordinary group of properties, is both humbling and inspiring. See the attached article.

When we look at the other inns on this list, we see passionate innkeepers, beautiful destinations, and countless people dedicated to creating meaningful experiences for their guests. To be included among them is an honor we don't take lightly.

Recognition like this is never a finish line. If anything, it reminds us how much we love what we do and fuels our desire to keep improving, refining, and elevating every part of the Sheridan House Inn experience. We appreciate our guests who have told their Sheridan House stories to Tripadvisor to make this happen.

We have the best guests - and those besties just made Sheridan House Inn "Best of the Best" - top 1% of hotels worldwide, by Tripadvisor. Those humbling reviews our guests have written, some that literally leave us speechless, got us this most amazing designation. Team Sheridan thanks you all from the bottom of our hearts. And know that we will continue what got us here, and strive to do even more, giving our guests our dedication, passion, culinary experiences and care. We are so honored.

Some of our guests became models in a video shoot we did a couple weeks ago for a new video header for our website. The videographers and guests had a lot of fun - and the shoots with food and beverage were true special occasions. They also filmed around town. Here are some behind-the-scenes moments. It's Route 66 classic car show weekend in Williams. Over 600 cars as far as the eye can see, live music, food and drinks and a beautiful northern Arizona weekend. If you aren't here, you should be, so make your plans - same time, same place next year. And stay here at the Sheridan House where you don't have to worry about the parking, the crowds or the noise.

Each year our staff team goes on a "field trip" - to be tourists for the day and do things that our guests do. This year we took a private sunset tour of Grand Canyon National Park, with lunch at El Tovar and one of Chef Mark's charcuterie dinners, led by Molly and Cory of Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours. It was truly a GRAND day. Going on a tour makes the Grand Canyon come alive, as they are so knowledgeable. We will treasure the memories forever. We love our team and we love where we live. Late afternoon brilliance - a guest gave us this beautiful wind chime a few years ago and it welcomes everyone, but never as gloriously as when the late afternoon sun hits it.

This weekend is the Williams Historic Route 66 Classic Car Show and it's always a great time - hundreds of cars, vendors and lots of live music through town. The Cruise the Loop Friday about 5 or so is quite a sight - and plenty of car honking.
