Enjoy something unique this weekend at the Suncook Valley Rotary Hot Air Balloon Rally in Pittsfield, NH. The weather forecast looks great for the weekend. Enjoy!

Starting this Friday, one of New Hampshire’s most magical summer weekends returns. The Suncook Valley Rotary Hot Air Balloon Rally brings glowing balloons, early morning launches, evening ascensions, food, music, fireworks, helicopter rides, family activities, and that rare summer feeling of standing in a field while giant balloons slowly rise into the sky around you.

This year’s rally runs July 31 through August 2, 2026 at Drake Field in Pittsfield, New Hampshire, with free admission and paid parking at the field. It’s one of those events that feels almost unreal when the conditions line up just right.

Go for the evening glow and sunset launches. Go for the early morning ascensions. Go for the photos, the kids, the food, the small‑town festival energy, and the chance to see New Hampshire’s summer sky filled with color.

Just remember, balloon launches are weather‑dependent, so check the official schedule and updates before you go. If the wind or weather does not cooperate, the festival can still have plenty happening on the ground, but the balloons always depend on safe flying conditions.

Granite Cup Water Skiers from around the world are in Back Bay, Wolfeboro today and tomorrow. Definitely worth stopping by. Parking is limited, but if you are staying with us, you can walk the Cotton Valley Rail Trail or hop on Molly the Trolley.

Wolfeboro is excited to host 12 of the BEST Waterskiers in the WORLD 🌎! The “Granite Cup” 🏆is the first stop on this years tour, July 10th and 11th. Athletes will be competing in Slalom, Jump and Trick for the title. Located in Back Bay of Wolfeboro, admission is FREE!

This weekend we are honoring one of our owners, Todd Loomis also known as Todd Almighty. Sadly, Todd lost his battle to cancer on July 19, 2025. For anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Todd, he became a friend for life.
Todd, Denise, Peter, and Lani are known as our "4 Loons" and proudly restored the former Allen A and transformed this motel and unique location into the Lake Wentworth Inn. The restoration journey started in 2019 and we are all so thankful for having Todd as part of our life and journey. Rest in Peace Todd Almighty.

Our Season started off with weddings & rehearsal dinner last weekend. This week we enjoyed guests from all around the US for the Lake Winnipesaukee Steam Car Tour. Thank you for being our guest. We are looking forward to all of the upcoming events.
