🌈 The Action Spectrum - part 6 - Wisdom ( the colour Indigo )
Wisdom is not the accumulation of facts, knowledge and information.
Wisdom is seeing reality as it is.
Here’s a quick summary of what has been discussed in previous Action Spectrum posts.
Matter- including us - is ‘ made’ from waves of energy.
Not from an indivisible, solid particle ( atom)
There is no ‘smallest particle’ in existence.
All life - at the quantum level - is deeply inter- connected.
We appear to be separate at first glance / on the surface level, but we are all fundamentally inseparable from our shared source.
We’re like islands that appear separate above the ocean’s surface, but we are all linked to the same underwater land mass.
We are all just like leaves on one huge tree.
We’re like countless waves on the surface of one vast ocean of life.
This profound recognition/ re-membrance is wisdom.
Wise living mirrors our understanding of the true nature of life and each other.
Knowledge can easily ( and is very often ) used for selfish and negative, harmful, purposes. This can never be the case with wisdom, however.
Wisdom is always loving, kind and altruistic.
Lack of wisdom (ignorance) is the root cause of human suffering and misery.
Unlike pain, which is physical, suffering is mental / emotional, and is entirely preventable. Because we ( falsely) believe ourselves to be separate from others, we often act negatively (attack/defence)
All words, thoughts and actions that we place into the connected quantum electrical field of life, will ( at some point ) be “returned to sender” so to speak.
All actions have mirror - like consequences for every actor ( The law of cause and effect / The Golden Rule)
The five methods we’ve discussed previously ( generosity, moral ethics, patience, diligence and meditation) are all practices that can both create and sustain wisdom.
All of the rainbow practices are heart opening. They soften the brittle, conditioned barriers of separation between ‘us’ and ’them,’ between ‘me’ and ‘others’
They open the doorway to peace.
And, in so doing, they slowly and irreversibly dissolve human suffering.
