It with great sadness that I share with you the news of the death of my dear husband and life partner, Rory.
He died at home on Friday 5th June 2026 having suffered a long undefined illness.
The memorial service will be held on Tuesday 9th June at St Anne's Anglican Church, Umzumbe, KZN AT 11am.
My sons Chris and Richard (from Texas) were with him at the end, thanks to God's Mercy and Grace.

At this time of the year butterflies abound. Here they are mobbing the flowers of the Dune Soapberry.. one of the best small trees indigenous to the South Coast KZN.

Shad Lane is one of the nearest dog friendly beaches.
Park your car along Marine Drive then a short walk to the beach down the pretty Shad lane.
You have a choice of strolling north or south. Alternatively you can simply sit and enjoy the waves crashing onto the warm sand and watch crabs scamper back and forth.
