Romance in the bush! 🤍🤍🤍

Last year we got to organise a *very* special sundowner for these two. As it was Jule’s first safari she didn’t cotton on until the very last minute and of course it was a yes!

Yesterday the team had some training from the wonderful Pride from on all things wine! How it’s made, what to recommend and how to serve! We can’t thank Pride enough for his very educational and fun training and we can’t wait to show you guys what we have learnt!

LILIANS LOVEBIRD 💚🧡❤️

But who is Lilian? Thought to be the wife of William Sclater a British ornithologist who romantically named the birds after his love after first identifying them in the late 1890s! Impress your own love with a birding safari here in South Luangwa, we don’t know if you’ll be able to name a new species after them but you can certainly try!

An unusual sighting of an African Harrier Hawk finding a hornbills nest and managing to take one of their chicks. Despite their mobbing she made off with one into a nearby tree where her chick tried to the steal it off her, rather unsuccessfully.

A harsh reality in the bush for raising young.
