Family owned & run, Pamarah is a boutique lodge located in the quiet residential suburb of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, offering the perfect springboard to discover the beauty & majesty of the waterfall & its natural surrounds. Pamarah is a stylish little lodge nestled under a canopy of shady indigenous teak trees in the residential suburbs of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. The town of Victoria Falls sits alongside the Zambezi River and is also situated in the Zambezi National Park – home to a wide variety of wildlife. It is not uncommon to come across a troop of baboons in the centre of town, or for traffic to stop and give way to a family of warthogs or an elephant crossing the road! Distinctively unique in its design, Pamarah is made up of a number of freestanding buildings, woven together by thoughtfully laid pathways and beautiful landscaping. Our unique style reflects clean straight lines coupled with gentle organic curves, while reflecting the influence that aviation has had on our lives. This suburban lodge features 14 luxury en-suite rooms, each with their own private entrance. An open-plan indoor-outdoor gazebo is the perfect spot to have breakfast while enjoying the garden and pool views. The interior design is a fresh interpretation of decades gone by, combined with contemporary classics. Spaces are filled with various hand-picked aviation and photographic collectables and historic images – echoing the family’s love for history, aviation and photography. Guests are truly spoilt for choice when visiting Victoria Falls – and we are happy to manage all your bookings on your behalf. We look forward to welcoming you!

Are you a land-based nature lover or a water-based thrill seeker? 🐘 🌊

If you had to pick just one, which Victoria Falls experience are you choosing for your bucket list?

🐘🎨 THIS:
The Wild Horizons Elephant Encounter is an educational and immersive experience focused on the conservation of orphaned and rescued elephants.

Walk along trails in the bush and observe the elephants behaving naturally in their habitat, or choose to sit quietly and observe their behaviour from a viewing platform, with a paintbrush and easel in front of you to capture what you see on canvas.

The experience typically lasts between 2.5 to 3 hours and includes refreshments, such as breakfast, lunch or canapés, overlooking the Masuwe River.

🌊 💦THAT:
The Devil's Pool swim is a high-adrenaline adventure located on the Zambia side of Victoria Falls. You will take a boat to Livingstone Island and, after a short walk and swim in the Zambezi River, reach a natural rock pool perched on the very edge of the 100-meter drop. A natural rock lip just below the surface creates a safe zone, allowing you to peer over the edge of the falls - under the strict supervision of trained guides of course!

*This experience is strictly seasonal and depends on Zambezi water levels. It is typically open from mid-August to late December or early January. The pool closes during the high-water season, when the current becomes too strong and unsafe for swimming. Because the opening and closing windows shift annually based on rainfall, it is essential to confirm current access with us before planning your visit.

The “Vulture Culture Experience” is a daily educational activity focused on the conservation of endangered vultures.

The activity is held in front of the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Visitors are led by a guide from the Buffalo Bar area down to a viewing shelter.

The White-backed Vulture and the Hooded Vulture are the two species most commonly seen feeding at the “Vulture Restaurant” in Victoria Falls.

This free activity is highly recommended for wildlife and birding enthusiasts, photographers, and those interested in conservation.

Keep an eye out for the tiny but mighty, fast and fidgety little Smith’s Bush Squirrel when you go for sundowners on the Buffalo Bar deck at VF Safari Lodge! 🐿️

They might look like they’re just snacking, but they are actually expert survivors who use grooming to bond with their family. Look at those whiskers!✨

A day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana is relatively easy, being only 80km (less than an hour’s drive) from Victoria Falls. Combine a river and land safari with lunch in between, and you’ll have yourself a jam-packed wildlife safari adventure! 🦓🦒🐘🦛🐊🦁

A morning river safari on the Chobe River offers a unique, up-close perspective on the Chobe National Park’s abundant biodiversity.

Keep an eye out for elephants drinking, bathing and swimming in the river, as well as hippos and crocodiles. And with over 450 bird species recorded in the area, the Chobe River is a premier destination for birdwatchers. 🐘🦛🐊🦅

> ADVENTURE OF THE DAY:
A game drive in Chobe National Park is your best opportunity to explore the park’s terrestrial wildlife and track down predators such as lions and leopards that roam the open plains and woodlands.

While sightings in a genuine wilderness environment are never guaranteed, you can expect to see a wide variety of species, including large herds of elephants, Cape buffalo, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest, as well as antelope and plains game. 🦁🐅🦓🐘🦒🐃
