Heritage accommodation with a fresh new edge! Our mission is to provide value packed accommodation at unbelievable prices.

We, Tom and Bec, and our two boys, Huxley and Nate, have recently bought this heritage listed Victorian mansion with attached cottages, to live in and run as a family business. Our aim is to give it quite a fresh new look of modern class that really highlights the Victorian charm and elegance yet focusing on bringing it into a new time. We know what it is like to travel and we know that no-one wan

ts to break the bank just to get a clean and cosy room to stay in. We also want to be able to add those special little touches that create a warm and valuable experience.

Hall of Fame - Australia!!

Last night we were awarded Gold for Hosted Accommodation at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards for the third consecutive year, placing The Dragonfly Inn into the Australian Tourism Hall of Fame 🖤🤍✨

What an incredible honour to represent our beautiful Tasmania on the national stage.

We are so very grateful to our wonderful guests, our incredible team, and our families who support us behind the scenes. Hospitality is truly a team effort, and we couldn’t do it without you 🫶

It has been a huge year for us, and we are so proud of all three of our properties - The Dragonfly Inn, Alice's Cottages and The Fenway, our newest undertaking, bringing a much-needed boutique hostel experience to the heart of Launnie.

The awards were held in the incredible Fremantle Prison in WA, which made for a very memorable evening… including some celebratory dancing in the cell blocks afterwards 👯🥂 Sadly we were missing our third amigo Tom, who was back home for The Fenway’s opening night. What a weekend!
