Under the shade of a Bimble Box Tree friends gathered to spread the ashes of the gentleman who crafted these beautiful opal clay pottery tiles. A gift to encourage me to learn mosaic’s in retirement.

I felt sad today that he never saw my completed task however I know many of my cottage guests have enjoyed tinkering with their own patterns.

One day I will start the mosaic in memory ❤️

A truly special discovery in Lightning Ridge ✨
🚌 While touring with Outback Opal Tours, Jess and Rafa, visiting from Switzerland, uncovered two beautiful opal specimens while fossicking. Their unique character immediately caught Brett’s eye at Down To Earth Opals.
🪄 With Brett’s expert cutting and polishing, these stones were carefully transformed into something truly remarkable—bringing their natural beauty to life.
🫶🏻We’re incredibly grateful to Outback Opal Tours for creating such an unforgettable experience, and to Jess and Rafa for trusting us to be part of their journey.
