🎤💎 **THAT’S A WRAP FOR ANOTHER SEASON!** 💎🎤

Our wonderful entertainers **Mel & Susie** have officially finished their season here at **BIG4 Opal Holiday Park** — and what a season it has been! ❤️

This year marked their **11th year** entertaining our guests, and despite a later start to the season due to the **fuel crisis and warmer-than-usual temperatures**, they still managed to put on an incredible **111 shows!** 👏🎶

That’s **60 fewer shows than last year**, but considering the later start, we think they deserve a **pretty big round of applause!** 👏👏👏

And then there are the famous **Morning Teas** — exclusive to our Opal guests. ☕️🫖🍰

Over the course of a season, **Mel makes around 10,000 scones**! 😲

Yep… **10,000 scones in one season!** Now just imagine how much cream and jam that would involve! 😂😂

We absolutely **LOVE** having Mel & Susie here at Opal. They have become such a special part of our park and the experience we offer our guests, and we know so many of you look forward to their shows and morning teas as much as we do. ❤️

But don’t worry… this isn't goodbye! 👋

During the off-season, Mel & Susie will be **hitting the road and heading off on tour**. 🚐🎤

And the best part? **You never know where they might pop up!** So if you're travelling around Australia, keep your eyes and ears open — you might just find our favourite bush poets entertaining somewhere along the way. 😉

It has been an absolute delight having the **Vintage Caravan Nationals** join us at BIG4 Opal Holiday Park! 💎🏕️

We loved welcoming such a fantastic group of vintage caravans and their owners to Lightning Ridge, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the park, catching up and sharing their love of caravanning. ❤️

Their **Open Day** was a fantastic opportunity to showcase these beautiful vintage caravans and share a little bit of the Lightning Ridge experience with visitors and locals.

Calling all caravan lovers, history buffs and anyone who loves a good trip down memory lane!

The **10th Bi-Annual Vintage Caravan Nationals** are rolling into Lightning Ridge this Friday, 18 September, for a whole week! 🎉

And on **Sunday, 20 September**, we're opening the gates to the public at **Opal Holiday Park** to showcase around **70 beautifully restored and original vintage caravans**. 🚐❤️
