The Point Turton Caravan Park is uniquely nestled in the disused historic flux quarry and overlooks the jetty an

d boat ramp. All cabins are positioned on the absolute seafront with panoramic views over Hardwicke Bay. All Caravan Sites are powered and well sheltered. Point Turton is the perfect peaceful location to fish, explore or simply relax.

We understand there has been some uncertainty surrounding the new fishing rules, and we would like to help clarify them.

Please refer to the attached spatial closure map, which highlights the restricted fishing area for King George Whiting until 31 July.

King George Whiting can still be legally caught in the Spencer Gulf, including the area between Point Turton and Hardwicke Bay. Fishing for King George Whiting within the bay remains permitted.

While Southern Calamari fishing is currently closed in our area, visitors to Point Turton can still enjoy targeting a range of other species, including tommy ruff, garfish, mullet, snook and salmon.
