This morning we hosted the Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory's 'Coffee with Chamber' at the RapidClean NT warehouse in Berrimah, with more than 40 people joining us.
Thank you to Ronan Mackey, at the NT Chamber of Commerce, for bringing the event out to Berrimah, and to Lord Mayor the Honourable Peter Styles from City of Darwin and everyone who made the trip out.
Ironbark CEO Jerome Cubillo opened with an Acknowledgement of Country, recognising the Larrakia people as Traditional Owners of the land we all stand on. He then spoke about the organisation behind RapidClean NT. Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation has worked alongside people and communities across the Darwin-Daly region for more than 25 years. It is 100% Indigenous-owned, with more than 130 people working across four business arms: RapidClean NT, Ironbark Services NT, Aboriginal Bush Traders, and employment pathways through Workforce Australia and RAES. When you place a contract with Ironbark, that investment stays in community and supports Aboriginal employment and enterprise here in the Territory.
Guests walked the warehouse and our retail showroom, and had a look at our main product ranges, with more than 1,300 cleaning products, chemicals and consumables in stock. Every attendee took home a $20 discount code, and two walked away with $100 and $50 RapidClean NT gift cards.
Coffee was served by Crewz'n Brew, the student training program from Henbury School, where students build barista and hospitality skills and the confidence to use them. Thanks for keeping us all going.
