We’re privileged to have Lamont’s Smiths Beach as our in-house restaurant, a high calibre dining experience right here onsite.
Led by the legendary Kate Lamont and supported by a talented team, Lamont’s brings together exceptional food, warm hospitality, and fresh seasonable produce from Margaret River and our great State.
Andreas and Louis, pictured, often receive mentions in the reviews and are a favourite of guests, as is Restaurant Manager Emanuele.
Having a restaurant of this standard at our Resort is something we’re very proud of, and we’re grateful to the entire Lamont’s team for creating such memorable experiences every day.

Meet some of the locals behind Smiths Beach Resort!
Our Management and Guest Services team, alongside our Maintenance team, all working day to day to keep our service, spaces and guest experience at their very best.
A special mention to our Resort Manager, Steven Hofmann, whose dedication, leadership and care help guide the team every day. And while our owner, Adam McWhirter, couldn’t be with us for these photos, his support and commitment to the resort are always very much part of what we do.

Winter walks don’t get much better than this.
The Cape to Cape Track is a guest favourite during the cooler months, and one of its most beautiful short sections is right on our doorstep - Smiths Beach to Canal Rocks.
This scenic 5km return walk is one of the best “taster” stretches of the 125km+ trail, with dramatic coastline, ocean views, wildflowers, and crisp winter air.
Follow the yellow or blue Cape to Cape Track markers, or join a guided walk with Cape to Cape Explorer Tours led by the legendary Gene.
Lace up, layer up, and discover one of WA’s most spectacular coastal walks.

As the sun began to set, our private guests settled onto the tennis court for a deeply restorative sound session, surrounded by nature with birds chiming in to the sound of crystal bowls.
As night fell, they opened their eyes to a star-filled sky and the moon above. Rested, grounded and ready to return to their rooms for a peaceful night’s sleep.
