Trails are currently closed in the Park. Day-use areas (golf course, beaches, lakes, playgrounds, etc) water based activities are open. Fingers crossed for some rain soon!

PUBLIC NOTICE

Because of continued extreme wildfire danger and wildfire activity in New Brunswick, the following closures are in place at Fundy National Park, effective immediately:

🚫All trails
🚫All backcountry camping
🚫All backcountry and forested areas

What is still open:
✅Visitor Centres
✅Front-country camping
✅Day-use areas
✅Lakes and water-based activities

🔥🚫A full fire ban continues to be in effect in the entire park.

❌No open fires are permitted. This includes campfires and charcoal barbecues. Fire in kitchen shelter stoves is also prohibited.

⚠️Propane/gas camp stoves and lanterns are permitted but should be used with caution.

⚠️While smoking is not prohibited, smokers must dispose of their cigarette butts properly in an appropriate bin - never throw cigarette butts on the ground or on anything that may ignite.

❌Fireworks and sparklers are fire hazards and are prohibited at Parks Canada-administered places.

These fire preventative actions are in support of the Province of New Brunswick’s recent restrictions to wooded areas to reduce the risk of wildfires across New Brunswick.
